I recently approached the fire service as I was concerned about what the new fire regulations, and found them to be really helpful. They spent a couple of hours with me at the property (which is a large Victorian house divided into several flats) and were pretty much happy with the fire alarm system, detectors, etc, that I had in place. They gave good advice and didn't make any notes! However, they did tell me that I had to write a fire safety risk assessment and test the fire alarm every week at the same time - has anyone else been advised to do this?
