Hi All,

One of my HMO's seems to be attracting requests for shorter-term letting periods 2 or 3 months rather than the standard 6 month as per the RLA tenancy agreement for rooms I use.

Can you still use the RLA rooms document but just shorten the duration in the contract? Do any other members have this or do you just stick to 6 month minimum duration? If I do let for a shorter term can deposits be protected or is it best to take credit card details for any damage?

Any thoughts or practical knowledge appreciated.

Regards,
Simon
