Good afternoon. Tenancy ended on 17 March 2016 (tenant moved out) but tenant disputing damage claims by owner/Landlord. Letting Agent unable to sort dispute so handed property management back to Landlord (Landlord contract with Letting Agent terminated 30 Apr 2016. The deposit that was deposited by the Agent at start of tenancy was also transfered into Landlord Deposit account in DPS on 29 Apr. We were informed by DPS via email. My questions: 1, Do I still need to inform the tenant of this transfer?
2, Do I still need to serve prescribed information to tenant seeing that the deposit is transferred to our deposit account with DPS AND we are waiting for the DPS to send us a statutory dec. form to make a single claim.
