I recently bought a 2 bedroom flat which looked in excellent condition on Feb 216. It is a in a purpose built block of flats. The tenant is complaining about severe condensation problem and mould growth. There is a vent in all window but its not helping. The tenant requested to change the windows. I don't pay building insurance.but i pay service charge 140 per month. leaseholder pays building insurance.
I have to take consent from leaseholder to get those windows changed but my worry is if there is another problem rather than windows which is causing condensation. what is the best way to deal with this situation?
