Hi all,
my tenant fell into arrears last year after losing his job. He tried to pay, the church helped him but he was struggling to the point that he had stopped using the heating to save money.
He has a family of 3 so I suggested him to contact the council.
Turns out that the child protection of the council will pay the rent for them till they get back on their feet.
They asked me to invoice them in advance for 6 months and I did, first 3 months the check arrived in time, then it started to be delayed.
I phoned, wrote email and complained, I just hear lot of promises and next month is late again.
Now its one year I need to phone 2 or 3 times to get the check, and I am talking about the council! This is unacceptable, is there something I could do?
