I have 3 professional tenants renting a 3 floor townhouse. There is a CM monitor installed near the boiler room plus a smoke alarm. There is NO fire extinguisher or fire blanket.

Please advise what is the law on this - e.g. fire blanket in the kitchen? Fire extinguisher in the hallway?

Also - I note from your publication, ASA Fire Systems is advertised. Would a fire extinguisher from B&Q (Tradepoint) be acceptable? One landlord, has purchased from Lidl. Is this also acceptable?

Any information you can guide me to on your RLA site, would be appreciated.

Thank you. Susan
