I have a prospective tenant who is unable to raise the damage deposit at this time, and has asked if she can pay additional amount per month for a period of time until she is 600 in credit. She has said she is willing to have this "all writen up and signed". Could you please advise as to the legalties of this? If you feel that this would be legal would you suggest that this is written into the rental agreement (and how?) or as a separate agreement? I would obviously pay the additional monthly payments into the deposit scheme.
Many thanks.
