My awful tenants in Colchester have at last been evicted but not before the gas company removed the meter and the electricity company installed a prepay meter. They now say it will take 10 days to get the meters reinstated and they want £600 in deposits against the accounts (£300 each). Is there anyway to avoid these costs and get the meters back quickly?

Thank you.
