I have a property for sale and have 4 friends who want to rent it.
They understand it may be short term and there may be viewings.
I have told them that IF there is a purchaser they would have a minimum of 2 months notice.
The income will be welcome as it is mortgaged but having recently made some mistakes being too informal I am keen to get it right so if things deteriorate I am not open to any redress.
To be clear, can I have an AST of only 3 months and then put them on periodic?
I would protect their bond and issue articles etc..
if they accept there will be viewings they may not get their right to quiet living so if this is all in writing can they contest it later?
