UNIVERSAL CREDIT wont pay housing benefit
I wonder if anyone has any ideas to help me out. I have a tenant whos is over four months in arrears.
I applied to UC, thinking that as it was well passed the 8 week rule that they would automatically pay.
However when I chased up UC they informed me that they could not pay, because they tenant would not give permission, and that I should contact the tenant. Predictably the tenant is refusing all contact, not replying to letters/emails/texts/phone calls.
Has anyone any idea as to what I should do to solve this problem.
