Hi,I have been advised by a CORGI registered gas installer that when I fit a new boiler / heating system installed and have the installation CORGI registered, I do not need a separate CP12 for another 12 months. Effectively the new installation acts as a CP12 for 12 months as the engineer is required to verify and approve the whole gas system whenever installing a new boiler (Or carrying out work on any other gas appliance for that matter). I have no reason to doubt him as an expert but would welcome your view on legality of this.

Thanks,

Ray
