Deposit Deduction for damages
Good tenant moves out of a brand new studio room,end of his 6 month tenancy.mid Sept moves out
Room is brand new,hi spec and we did a detailed inventoryno photos though
Whilst conducting viewings noticed couple of small damages,he was not present
- Ink stain on laminated wooden flooring.at present single bed almost covers it,but when his bed goes it will be in the middle of the floor.Dont know how you would remove the stain without taking the laminate up? I have absolutely no experience of this.
2 Black stain on door frame where he has put a metal coat hanger.
Is it best to speak to him about these and get him to get people round to repair damages or wait until the check out meeting and tell him to pay up for our engineer to sort outAnd how much should we charge,Everything was brand new condition when he moved in
Could tell him it is best to pay so not on his record that deductions from deposit necessary.
