Tenant advised all sockets U/S [except oven/extractor] after they tried using their blender. After flicking breaker switch, STILL U/S. all tested and working 4 wks. earlier at AST start.. Next day, they were using 2 extn leads for appliances downstairs, all off oven socket. I arranged Electrician and paid £60 charge. All he did was reset button on RCD. I said the problem wouldn't have arisen but for their blender and suggested they meet half of the charge. They refused. Who do you deem liable for the charge please?
