No ID or booking form for holiday let
Good evening members.
This enquiry relates to a Holiday Let.
Our client enquirerd about a booking over the telephone. As per our standard procedure, the customer obtained the booking form and strangely immediately deposited the appropriate rent into our account, but refused to return the booking form or any proof of ID with it including even a name or afddress!
Within 24hrs they want to cancel the booking and are demanding a refund and only by bank transfer or cash. We have checked the Bacs payment which was made through a "Tuxedo" pre paid credit card, with no client reference to go on.
I want to terminate the agreement but worry about fraudulent action if I reimburse the money. Does anyone have any experiences please or suggestions?
