105 Thanks

4 people sharing a house on an AST joint and several for the past year. The tenancy has come to an end one person moved out and the other 3 wished to remain and they found another friend to move in.

I checked the property and refunded all the deposit.

I arranged for a video inventory to be done on for the new tenancy but when the person doing the inventory turned up he said that because of all the STUFF the tenants had it was not possible to do the inventory.

Question:

Because there are 3 of the old tenants still living in the property they are all happy to acknowledge that the inventory taken at the beginning of the previous tenancy still stands but given there is a new tenancy and one new tenant just moved in is this acceptable.
Is there a suitable clause that I could ask them to sign or is it all a stupid idea?
