Renting to buyer before exchange of contracts
Please could you advise me whether to rent my house to a potential buyer.
I own a residential house that is currently empty. I want to sell it, but I have found someone who wants to rent it from me but would like to buy it once the conveyance process is competed. The idea is that they move in now, well before exchange.
Please could you let me know if this is a good idea or if there are any issues I should be aware of.
