charge rent until when?
I have a tenant with guarantor who I want to pursue for arrears. The ast says £560 per month is due on 16th of month. Possession order told them to leave by 1 Sep. He did not leave. Bailiffs warrant will be executed 4 Oct. He disappeared round about 29 Sep posting 2 keys with no covering note to me by recorded delivery. He sent an anyonymous text message not even saying which property it was. My question is can I charge the full month's rent due 16 September or do I have to allow an apportionment? And where do I stand on council tax? Can I charge them up to 4 Oct? Up to 15 Oct? or only 29 Sep? The tenancy agreement is RLA Nov 2014 vintage. I have already issued county court proceedings for the first 1000 of the debt against guarantor. This question will determine how much I claim in the subsequent round.
