We want to replace an electric shower. I have seen conflicting advice on various forums about whether a NICEIC/NAPIT qualified electrician is compulsory for such work or not. Some are saying yes the work needs to be signed off because its in a bathroom, others say no because no new wiring or additional or altered circuits are being created, simply replacing one shower for another. Could any members or experts in this field advise? Thanks.
