I have a tenant who took a AST with her son at my property. The tenancy has now run onto a periodic tenancy, but the woman and her son are still the tenants. Unfortunately the husband has recently been released on probation from prison and is now living at the property with his wife and son my tenant). Notice has been given for the family to vacate (Section 21(4)) due to the sale of the property. Though (presumably? the husband has no rights, as he is living at the property he is now asserting his 'authority' over the exit conditions and plans. He is trouble, and we were aware of this when we allowed his wife to possess the property. Am I correct that he has no legal rights? Is there snything I need to be mindful of, over the obvious, whilst trying to get them to vacate my property? Thanks in anticipation.
