Our landlord supplied a washer/dryer in the property and is listed on the inventory. The appliance is three and half years old and has had 10 repairs in this time. Apparently the tenant uses the machine almost constantly and it subsequently requires replacement. As it is listed on the inventory as washer/dryer I assume it has to be replaced like-for-like rather than just a washer.
Can the tenant be levied any charge due to over-use of the machine?
Landlord not happy to replace at all.
