A tenant has moved out and he door has been damaged, it is a upvc door, it has been damaged at the bottom, the damage is about the size of a finger. I contacted a company that repairs upvc but they said they couldn't do it. A new panel which is almost he full length of the door, including a glass pain would be £260. Do you think I will be able to pass on this cost to the tenant for damaging the door. I am not sure what to do, what will a deposit company allow. The deposit is protected in My Deposits. should I agree to pay half ?? any suggestions.
