re protect of deposit after it went to periodic
Hi , i had an year long contract with my tenant which expired over a month. i increased the rent as soon as it expired sent a tenant section 13 notice for more than a month),tenant started to pay new rent. For some reason i thought as the contract is on periodic now, i don't need to re protect the deposit. (periodic tenancy started more than 35 days ago now but I came across the email from tds and i realised now that i should have re protect it as it has material change , rent in my case.
What will be the consequences ?
