Hi all

Would like some help please as title states Form 6A served giving 2 months notice which expires 6th Dec. Rent is due on 24th of the month and I have some questions:

  1. I have not heard from the tenant re vacating the property, do I phone him to ask his intentions?
  2. Should I only accept rent up to the 6th Dec? How do I work this out? Will it be day 1 24th Nov to 6th Dec 13 days so work out the daily rate i.e. monthly rent divide by 12 divide by 365 = daily rate. I do not think they will leave by this date as I know they have contacted the local Council about accommodation.
  3. What happens about rent payment after the 6th if they stay on, I know I will have to issue court papers if they do not vacate.
