Tenants currently applying for a tenancy of an unfurnished house have specifically asked about using the loft space for storage.
The loft insulation is this week being upgraded, and there will not be any boarding. We are concerned about damage to ceilings, the access is small, and at the top of stairs - therefore safety is an issue as there is not a loft access ladder. Other thoughts such as possible fire hazard, depending on what they wish to store, make us reluctant to give express permission.
