My tenant's Assured shorthand tenancy agreement finished on the 18 November 2016. The tenancy agreement is your version: 000600 V1-28-01-16. We have plans to re-develop part of the flat he is living in and all of the ground surrounding it.
We need to ask him to leave as soon as possible.
He has been a good tenant and I would like to ask him to leave in the most polite and professional way possible.
I believe we need to give him two months notice. Is this correct?
I have never asked a tenant to leave before so I would be grateful if you would give me step by step instructions for the correct procedure.
Thank you.
