At the beginning of a new tenancy the fire alarms and carbon monoxide alarms are tested.
The tenancy agreement states that the tenants are responsible for checking them on an on going basis and informing me if they do not work properly.

How often does the carbon monoxide alarms have to be tested?

Who is responsible for testing them?
