Roll over relief - sell one rental and buy another
Has anyone successfully argued for this? I have managed the property (written contracts, advertising, photography, inspections, repairs tenant find etc) myself and as far as I can see from HMRC should be regarded as a business. This could save me a lot of money so I am thinking of going for it. If I apply should I pay the tax anyway hoping to get it back? Any advice I would be grateful.
