I am going to compulsory purchase the freehold of a house I own. The Ground Rent is £4.20p
a year and there is 850 years left on the Lease. The value of the freehold is therefore about £65 and the reversion value is zero (as there is 850 years to run).
I will have to pay £65 plus the 'reasonable' legal costs of the Freeholder. Anybody have an idea what 'reasonable' costs would be ?
