How long Section 21 Notice remains valid
Tenancy commenced 12/05/2010. Section 21(4)a Notice issued 01/06/2016. Local Council states that it is no longer valid as it is over 6 months old. I thought that Section 21 Notice (not the new Form 6A) remained indefinitely valid as the oldest reported case involved a Section 21 Notice which expired 6 years before possession action began.
I am now intending to apply to Court for possession and need to make sure that the application would not be rejected. Any advice on the "time limits" would be appreciated.
