Departing tenants admit to staining Amtico flooring- they left car tyres (UMM?? - why not leave in the GARAGE??) on the floor for six weeks - a local company says they can replace the damaged strips, but it will be a random match because of the age of the floor. The tenant "wants to go halves" on the cost as she has been advised the floor wasn't "sealed"
Amtico do recommend the floor be cleaned and sealed on a yearly basis -
Where do I stand if I refuse to go halves, and just deduct the whole sum from the deposit?
