Electric cooker kitchen planning
Hi I have a tenant moving out of a property after 12 years.. The kitchen contains a free standing electric cooker at the end of a run. It has a worktop to the left of it but nothing to the right. I have been told that it should have a worktop of at least 300mm to the right of it but this would spoil the layout of the kitchen. I wouldn't be able to buy a matching worktop. There is a gap of about 250mm to the wall. Can I leave that as a gap or do I have to fit an odd piece of worktop or do I need to redesign the kitchen to incorporate a worktop of at least 300mm on both sides. Thanks
