I took possession of a flat resulting from a recent court judgement in my favour as a result of issuing a S8 notice.

It appears the tenant has not been at the flat for many months but all of his personal possessions remain. And I mean everything including furniture, clothing, phone, watch, tv etc. It's like he went off to buy the newspaper and never returned!

I am seeking some advice regarding what to do with everything.
a) What is the legal timeframe I am required to store the tenant's possessions?
b) Does the clock start ticking from when tenant went missing(effectively when he stopped paying rent) or from the time I took possession?

Thks
