Do CO alarms have to be linked to the smoke alarms?

just checking....
i dont think they do, but do CO alarms going in the kitchen due to gas boiler/hob need to be interlinked to the smoke alarms in the property either wired or wireless?

i dont think they do, however if they do then it involves quite a bit of work to update all my properties.

i know it may be good practice, but are they actually required to be by current regulations?

as far as i know, CO alarms also dont have to be installed if only a gas boiler and gas hob in the kitchen - its just considered good practice.
