There is a smoke detector on the market that not only sounds an alarm but also connects to a monitoring station manned 24/7. The alarm can be incorporated with intruder and medical/panic.
My question is, will insurance companies reduce premiums where an alarm activation automatically connects to a system that audio verifys a fire/intruder and calls appropriate emergency service?
This must reduce the ultimate cost of a claim/damage.
