Good Day,
Can you please give me some advice?

If you live in a Liverpool Housing Trust property and it goes on fire - the property is totally gutted with the loss of 3 cats lives and, the Fire Brigade investigation indicates it was an electrical fire caused by a faulty socket in the kitchen, where does the tenant stand regarding compensation for the total loss of her personal items and furnishings. She had no house insurance.

Please can you advise me how to proceed to get some form of compensation. The tenant is currently in a hotel and hopes to be rehoused shortly.

Regards,

Lin Kirby
