I have had a Corgi registered engineer to do a gas certificate and he says he can not
issue a certificate as its been installed in correctly by another Corgi registered plumber
five years ago he states the following
During my visit I noticed 2 issues relating to the combi boiler straight away.

The flue has been incorrectly fitted, it's too long, not sealed inside the premises and has not been secured as required by the manufacturer's installation instructions.

The safety discharge pipe is pointing down and should be wall facing.

To carry out the work to correct these issues and complete the safety certificate the total cost would be £150.00 which will require payment in full upon completion of the work.

Please let me know if you would like me to go ahead with the work at your earliest convenience so that I can plan it in.
How would I approach the plumber who installed it and can I get plumber 2 do do it and charge the first any advice would be appreciated
