Tenant hasn't given notice NOT to renew the lease in due time
In the AST-Agreement we stated: "The Tenant must give no less than two months' written notice to the Landlord or Agency, should the Tenant choose not to renew the lease." It is almost 3 weeks into the required 2 months and we haven't gotten any written notice. Does this make the Tenant obliged to renew? If so, to the same terms (12 months)? If he chooses not too renew, what options do we have to be covered for the loss of 2 months new tenant search? (for future AST-Agreements, should we mention what happens if the Tenant doesn't give 2 months notice but doesn't want to renew neither?
