Please can you tell me the usual procedure for doing a checkout myself, without using an agent/ inventory clerk.
Do I ask the tenant to be present in order to agree any discrepancies with the Checkin Inventory? (and if I do, and they say they will not be there or don't answer, what then?}
I think they previously expected ( or probably arranged for) the agent to do it for them, (Agent was entirely on the side of the tenant in dismissing my previously reported concerns).
If the tenant isn't present, should I just take another party with me as witness (if I'm not employing an Inventory clerk)?
