I am currently selling my current main home. Already purchased new home for me and planning to use profit from my main current home to use for make myself mortgage free for my new residence and some for improvement on my new buy to let.
Also thinking to sell 3 more buy to let's - all bought between 5 to 7 years ago , to make it easy - for example one property purchased at £100k and now have mortgage left at £50 k , so 3 times 50 k = 150 k , I want to use this 150 k to repay my 3 old buy to let's , what's the tax equation here ? Haven't sold anything before so need to learn from scratch. Any ideas or advice for me please?
