Do I need to re-pay then demand re-payment of the deposit.
Hello, My tenants are happy to stay another year in the same house. The letting agent has reduced his fee to 5% but a new tenancy agreement needs to be signed and put in place.
The deposit was already protected for the first year. Do I repay this then demand a new deposit or do i simply let the deposit run as a periodic tenancy? Remember there is a new agreement. The rent stays the same.
Also does the Inventory 'Carry over"? or do I need to do a new inventory and check?
