Following this latest experience where I am having difficulty with a problem tenant leaving his possessions in the house, I am wondering if I can, in future, write another clause into the tenancy agreement, along the lines of "I hereby grant the landlord permission to dispose of any/all of my possessions which may be left in the property after the Landlord regains possession, either at the end of my tenancy or by any other means". Do I need different wording? Would this be wording be legal?
