Advice from those. Wiser than myself
Hi. First post so please be gentle.
I have a couple of btl. A 2 bed house with another 10 years or so of repayment mortgage and a one bed house which I've just paid the mortgage off of.
I've seen a pretty much similar 1 bed house around the corner and in 21 years have never had the 1 bedroom house empty.
I could raise about £20k but apparently this will not be enough of a deposit to buy the new property.
I'm risk averse and like fixed terms of at least 5 year repayment mortgages historically.
How would you suggest I make the leap from 2 to 3 properties?
