I have the misfortune to have tennants who have complained about condensation problems. And on investigation have found that the damp course has failed. The damp proofing firm have confirmed this and say that there is also a problem with condensation, this been due to the tennant not having any of the pvc windows open but also due to drying clothes on radiators.I have fitted air vents around the house, they still say they have a condensation problem and now want 2 months notice before damp proof renewal can take place. Is there any written advice i can give to the tennant about curing condensation and what is termed reasonable notice to carry works out on a tennanted property.Would it be quicker to serve notice to quit.
