Hello, I own a leasehold flat in a block of flats with a tenant in situ. The downstairs neighbour has alerted me of water damage in his flat which he claims (and might well be true) result from a leak in my property. I still need to confirm this (was just alerted). My question: To what degree am I, as leaseholder responsible for repair, and any subsequent damage, and to what degree is the owner/management company of the building responsible? Thank you.
