Tenants rights when property placed on market
One of our owners is going to put the property we manage on his behalf on the market to sell. It is tenanted up to 10 September 2017. The tenants are now saying that they will not be obliged to stay until the end of their contract. Can they walk away without fulfilling their obligations to pay rent. I recognise that the situation is unnerving for tenants but what is their legal obligation? Thanks.
