We have tenants who are 5 months arrears with their rent £3750, Section 21 expired on 31/7/17, they have not vacated. They advise that they are waiting for City Council to rehouse them.
Where do we stand with regard to issuing a Section 8 notice and is a court likely to grant landlord possession if it render a family homeless?
Would we better appointing a solicitor or is it something we could manage ourselves?
Is there a better process for debt collection other than the small claims route?
Looking forward to receiving the benefit of others experience.
