Can I claim compensation from tenants for loss of house sale?
We gave notice to the tenants because we were putting the property up for sale. The tenants failed to move out of house by the due date so we had to follow the S21 process for eviction. The tenants have now moved out but the sale of the house has failed (buyer has found another house) so we now have an empty property to put back on the market. Can we claim anything against the tenants as their delay in moving out has cost us the sale?
