PREFER to do the check out inventory after the tenant has moved out?
Do any landlords on here prefer to do the final inventory after the tenant has left the property? To avoid the tenant breathing down ones neck when conducting the inventory and also to avoid arguments in person?
I had a bad experience with this and was thinking if this would be a better option for me to do in future.
I prefer to do the inventories myself as i have found inventory clerks are very hit and miss. Or would it put me in weaker position as the tenant wont be there to sign the completed final inventory
