Hello, a tenant of mine has been made redundant and has made a claim for universal credit.
The tenant has been with me for 3 years and has been a good tenant.
His AST is periodic.
The good people at DWP have informed him that as his tenancy agreement is dated from 2014 it is 'out of date!' and not acceptable??
Apparently the landlord has to issue a new AST.
What is the best way to proceed with this please?
I am quite happy to issue an new AST, but how to I bring the periodic AST to an end?
