What is the right date to end a periodic tenancy when using a section 21
I have a tenant who moved in March 2014 on a AST which has now expired, she is now on a periodic tenancy. I wish to serve a section 21 Notice(as selling property) but have had conflicting advice about the appropriate dates to use on the form. She moved in on the 5th March but pays her rent on the 3rd (her choice to do this) If I serve notice on 1st September and give two months notice, what is right end date to use on the form? Thanks in advance to anyone who can advise me!
